David is a former senior manager with Lloyds TSB Private Banking Limited and since taking early retirement has run his own consultancy dealing with succession planning and training. David also has an ongoing involvement in the development of software and use of computers in this work.

David is a member and former Chief Executive of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and Council Member, and is currently Branch Secretary of the Sussex branch and Chairman of the Qualified Practioner Committee.
