Robin started his career as an assistant solicitor and partner at Wood Nash & Winters in 1968. He then left and started teaching in 1974 at The College of Law in Guildford up until his retirement in 2001 as Associate Director.

Robin has 3 publications to date:

• Will Draftsman’s Handbook – FT Law & Tax (Ed. 8th Edition)
• Wills, Probate Administration – College of Law
• Private Client (Wills, Trusts and Estate Planning) – College of Law

Robin is now self-employed and lectures for the College of Law in Private Client and Financial and Business skills and lectures for Central Law Training on the STEP England and Wales and the STEP International programmes.
