Taxation students are invited to attend an optional additional day of tuition, focused entirely on computations with lots of practical work.
For the first time we are offering an additional day of tuition, focused entirely on computations with lots of practical work for students covering not only the mechanics of computation preparation but also the thought processes that are required before attempting the computation, which will be geared towards those students who are not confident with this very important aspect of the course.
Numbers will be limited to a maximum of 25 per course (allocated on a first come first served basis) in order to ensure students get the maximum out of the course.
The first computation days will be held in London on 15th, 16th and 19th of March and Manchester on 17th March with tuition taking place 10.00-15.30 - Only refreshments will be provided (so you will need to arrange your own lunch).
Although these days have reached full capacity, there are still places available on an additional date to be held on 22nd March.
The cost of the day will be £75 plus VAT.
This is not an essential part of the course because the content of the two Workshop days will not change as a result of the computations day, however, it is clear to the Examiners that computation preparation is a weakness for many students and this course offers additional help in the taxation paper, which for many students is the one they find difficult.
